Description
Taco Ranch Bites are a fun and tasty appetizer that combines the flavors of tacos with a creamy ranch dressing, all served in crispy phyllo tart shells.

- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 package (1 oz) taco seasoning
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes and green chiles, undrained
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bottle (8 oz) ranch dressing
- 5 packages (15 count each) frozen phyllo tart shells
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the phyllo tart shell package instructions.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and diced tomatoes with green chiles to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
- Place the phyllo tart shells on a baking sheet.
- Spoon the beef mixture into each tart shell.
- Drizzle ranch dressing over the top of each filled tart shell.
- Bake in the preheated oven for the time specified on the tart shell package, or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the toppings with your favorite taco ingredients, such as jalapeños or olives.
- These bites can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
- For a vegetarian option, substitute the ground beef with black beans or lentils.
