  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups half-and-half cream
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions or chives (optional, for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 cup diced white or yellow onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup plain all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground pork sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and half-and-half cream.
  4. Add the cooked sausage, cheeses, onions, bell pepper, and seasonings to the egg mixture. Stir until well combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the sausage mixture.
