- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, and butter until crumbly.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and baking powder to the cream cheese mixture and mix well.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
- Evenly distribute the blueberries on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set and lightly golden.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For a sweeter taste, add more sugar to the cream cheese mixture.
- These bars can be served chilled or at room temperature.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
